While You're in Town

Whether you’re arriving early or extending your stay, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach offer plenty to explore. Below are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy the area.

Our Favorite Nearby Restaurants & Spots

We’re big food people, so narrowing this down was hard! Below are some of our favorite places within walking distance (unless noted otherwise):

El Camino – Mexican food with great margaritas. It can get crowded, but the happy hour is worth it (food & drinks 4–7 PM).

Kabuki – Excellent sushi with solid happy hour pricing (3–6:30 PM daily).

Bradley’s – Classic American food and beautiful water views. The food is good (not fancy), but the scenery is the star.

Field of Greens – Perfect lunch spot with great salads.

Rocco’s Tacos – A fun option and second only to El Camino for tacos and margaritas.

Elisabetta’s – Fantastic pizza and a great brunch spot.

Sweetgreen – Fresh, delicious salads (a little pricey, but reliable).

City Cellar – Great dinner option and generous portions for the price.

Pura Vida – Excellent for breakfast or lunch; healthy and delicious (a bit on the pricier side).

Adrienne’s Pizza Bar – The best pizza within walking distance.

Johan’s Joe – Our favorite breakfast spot and the best coffee downtown.

Loïc Bakery – Incredible pastries and the best biscuits—yes, even the family from Alabama will agree.

Treehouse – The best rooftop bar for views and vibes.

Splurge‑Worthy Favorites (Reservations Required)

These are some of our favorite places ever—all on the pricier side and absolutely worth it. Reservations are a must.

Imoto – Creative, upscale Asian‑inspired cuisine and sushi.

Palm Beach Grill – A classic favorite for elevated American dishes and a great atmosphere.

Buccan – One of our all‑time favorites for bold flavors and small plates; a must‑do if you can get in.

BrickTop’s – Upscale American comfort food done really well.

Reservation Tip:

If you’re planning to go out for dinner on Friday night, we highly recommend making reservations about a month in advance, especially for Elisabetta’s, El Camino, Rocco’s Tacos, Grato, Adrienne’s, Bradley’s, City Cellar, and all of the splurge‑worthy favorites listed above. These spots fill up quickly.

Friday: Arrival and Exploring the Area

After traveling in, consider heading over to Palm Beach for some time by the water. Brazilian Avenue Public Beach Access (S Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach, FL 33480) is a beautiful spot for a beach walk, relaxing by the ocean, or simply enjoying the scenery.

For something cultural, the Norton Museum of Art is a wonderful option for an hour or two. Fun fact: this was one of Alex and Colin’s first date spots, making it especially meaningful to us.

Saturday Morning: Downtown West Palm Beach

If you’re up early, the West Palm Beach Green Market is a must‑see.

101 S Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401

8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

The market features a wide variety of food vendors, local merchants, and artisan goods. It’s a great place to grab breakfast or coffee, stroll along the Intracoastal Waterway on Flagler Drive, and enjoy the waterfront views.

Nearby, CityPlace offers shopping and dining and often hosts free fitness classes, live music, and arts‑related events—there’s usually something happening worth checking out.

Additional Favorites

Take a morning walk or bike ride along the Intracoastal, including the scenic waterfront bike trail along Flagler Drive.

Visit the Society of the Four Arts Gardens in Palm Beach for a peaceful stroll through beautifully maintained gardens by the water.

Cross the bridge into Palm Beach for scenic walks and ocean views at Palm Beach Bike Trail. A walk down Worth Avenue is a must while you’re on the island, one of the area's most charming spots.

Rent bikes around downtown West Palm Beach or Palm Beach for an easy way to explore.

Enjoy a boat tour to see the area from the water.

Stop by Drive Shack or Pop Stroke for a fun and casual activity.

Sunday: Before You Leave Town

On your way out of town, don’t forget to grab a Publix sub—a Florida classic—or, even better, stop by Buccan for Alex and Colin’s favorite sandwiches.
